PESI KOMAR

This work shows a sculpture that functions as an hourglass, consisting of four models of a city, with a perforated partition between them. The sand flows between the buildings, exposing, revealing and hiding cities in reciprocity. The sculpture deals with the consciousness within which layers of knowledge are exposed and hidden.

The work was done as part of an exhibition at the Bible Lands Museum and the sculpture referred to the models of the ancient cities on display in the museum and was placed in correlation to them.
